Rocker Type
ELP Full Rocker - Völkl matches the sidecut and flex of the ski perfectly to give it a smooth, gradual bend from tip to tail. This results in easy maneuverability in tight spaces and soft snow, but enables the skier to gain full edge contact when the ski is put on edge. Full Rocker skis have a slightly stiffer tip and softer mid-body to give you bomber stability, uncanny smoothness and easy turn initiation in one package.

Extended Sensorwood Core - Created with a sophisticated CNC milling process, Extended Sensorwood cores create vertical ridges to form the understructure of the Dual XTD Transmission shape.
Laminates
Powered by Titanium - A metal layer just under the topskin delivers dampness and power at speed.
Sidewalls
XTD Transmission Sidewall - This construction features reinforcement channels over the outer edges of the ski, on top of the sidewalls and edges, to provide exceptional edgehold and stability.

Volkl:
Since 1923, Volkl has manufactured skis in Straubing, Germany, a Bavarian town about an hour's drive north of Munich. In the 1960s, Seaos started distributing Volkl in North America under the Othmar Schneider and Sears brands. Though they recently built a state-of-the-art production facility in Straubing, the original factory is still in use as the Volkl World Logistics Center.
In early 2007 Volkl presents another quantum leap in the evolution of the ski: Power Switch Technology, a mechanism that allows you to completely transform your skis' characteristics, with a simple manual switch enabling the adjustment to current snow conditions or to your fitness level.
