WOOD CORE:
karuba wood provides an exceptional strength to weight ratio. In order to realize a comfortable longitudinal flex with high torsional rigidity, the traditional sandwich core concept has been reinforced with a structural element (CAP). This wood core, in combination with a fibreglass, allows for perfect harmonization of vibrations and flexing characteristics.
The reinforced housing from various fiberglass sheets acts like a torsional box, equipping the ski with high torsional rigidity. This harmonization is ony made possible through the combination of high-quality sandwich construction and a fiberglass cap. Features: To achieve a super light, touring ski both top and bottom sheets are made of fiberglass plastic (GRP). HOLLOWTECH technology is used in the tip for further weight reduction.
WEAR PROTECTION:
The upper edge radius in combination with the SANDWICH CAP CONSTRUCTION offers optimal protection against wear and tear.
